It already had the functionality of the window, importing the files, etc. Actually, I bastardized an existing PS script – Load Files Into Stack. Did I remember how I did it? Of course not. I decided I wanted to write the script again. It was stupid, I know, and I suffered for it. Then my computer suffered a catastrophic hard drive failure (the crash was unrelated to the script). Just plug in the image tiles and let Photoshop do all the work. It seemed a script would be a perfect solution. Manually assembling them is not that big of a task, though it does quickly become tedious. I did this because I often generated 100 or more image tiles. Several years ago, I even created a Photoshop script for automating the assembly of the image tiles that the Mandelbulb 3D Big Render function generates. Using it, you can split a large image into a grid of image tiles, each one taking far less time to render than if you tried to render the whole thing all at once. I like generating very large fractal images, and it has a Big Render function to facilitate large projects. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Mandelbulb 3D Big Render Photoshop Script – Update This version is more basic and does contain a potential bug. I have released a new version of this script that includes layer grouping, smart object creation, and the ability to import the ZBuf files.
